Description
A 15th Century Style Pine Carving of Virgin and Child signed E. Lechner. Carved in high relief with a hollowed back and depicting the crowned Virgin standing on contrapose with long curly hair flowing down her back and a billowing cloak over a draped, girded gown. The naked Infant with curly hair stood on her right arm holding an orb in one hand with the other raised up to her crown, 42 inches (107 cm) in height.
